Our nation’s future economic success relies on the growth of ideas that incubate in our research institutions. By helping to bring together the most talented students and the most accomplished, engaging professors, ARCS strives to foster robust departments and dynamic research teams. Not only do these groups of outstanding individuals advance groundbreaking research but also ensure that future generations of undergraduates benefit as ARCS scholars teach, mentor, and inspire students to pursue advanced degrees in all areas of science, technology, engineering and math. We are grateful to have had a small hand in contributing to the achievements of over 1,000 outstanding ARCS scholars that continue to shape and change our world!
Currently, ARCS Foundation Seattle offers up to 60 Fellowships each year to PhD candidates enrolled in STEM disciplines at the UW and WSU. We provide funding to students in areas of study such as Engineering, Medicine, Computer Science, Dentistry, Bioengineering, Public Health, Environmental and Crop Sciences and Veterinary Medicine at our state’s two premier research institutions. The financial support ARCS provided to students is a critical factor that enables our universities to attract the most outstanding and promising students from throughout the United States.
As members, friends and community partners you have made a remarkable contribution to our universities and communities through your support of ARCS scholars who have driven academic and economic advances on the local, national, and international level. The return on your investments hold great promise as we look to the challenges of the future. Thank you.
